Lila Knull

Lila Knull is an experienced dancer, teacher, choreographer, and recent alumna of the College of Charleston, where she studied elementary education and dance. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, she began dancing at the age of 8, training under numerous mentors in jazz, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, modern, and contemporary styles as a competitive dancer. Since starting her freelance career, Lila has gained recognition both regionally and nationally for her work. Dancers under her training have achieved numerous competitive accolades, including title wins, top placements, and judges' awards. Certified in K-12 dance education, she is passionate about nurturing young artists, and it’s her inclusive and encouraging style of teaching that sets her apart. Integrating her faith with dance, she founded Audience of One: A Dance Ministry in 2023, aiming to counter negative industry trends by fostering a community where dancers and believers can use their gifts for worship. Lila is a resident teacher at several studios across the Carolinas and has performed and set work both professionally and at the collegiate level. During her free time, she enjoys connecting with new dancers and teachers by traveling to judge competitions, teach workshop classes, and set choreography.
