Season begins Aug 31 · Four skill levels · Beginners welcome
What is Acro?
Acro is acrobatic dance — the artistry of dance blended with the athleticism of acrobatics. Dancers learn handstands, cartwheels, aerials, back handsprings, and flips, safely and step by step, while building the strength, flexibility, and body control that make every style of dance stronger.

How it works
Four levels, mastered one skill at a time
Acro is all about safe progression. Students are placed at the instructor’s discretion — by the skills they’ve mastered, not just their age — to ensure both safety and the right growth. As dancers master each level’s skills they move up, sometimes even mid-year.

Safety first
Big skills, taught safely
Flips and tumbling look daring — and they’re taught with care. Our instructors use proper progressions, spotting, and mats so dancers build skills confidently and only advance when they’re truly ready.
That skill-by-skill approach is exactly why placement is at our instructors’ discretion: no one moves up before their body is prepared for it.

Class times & rates
Class schedule
Acro classes run these days for the 2026–2027 season — exact times are on the full schedule.
Acro follows our simple rate table, tiered by your dancer’s total weekly class time across every class they take. See the full tuition table →
Take more, save more. Inspire tuition is tiered by your dancer’s total weekly class time — so if they also take Academy dance, Ballroom, or another class, they move into a lower hourly rate. See how tuition works →

Good to know
-
At the instructor’s discretion, based on the skills they’ve mastered — not just their age — to ensure both safety and the right growth. New students start in the level that fits them best, and dancers who reach their level’s goals early can move up mid-year.
-
None at all. Level 1 is built for brand-new acro students — everyone starts with the basics and grows from there.
-
Yes. Skills are taught with proper progressions, spotting, and mats, and dancers only advance when they’re ready — which is exactly what the level prerequisites protect.
-
Yes — new students can join throughout the fall and winter. Popular classes do fill, though, so it’s best to start sooner than later.
-
Fitted athletic clothing they can move and stretch in (a leotard or fitted top with shorts or leggings), bare feet, and hair pulled back.
