Youth Ballroom
Not your grandparents' ballroom
Think fast footwork, high energy, and Latin rhythms — cha cha, swing, rumba and more. Kids learn in a supportive group where no one needs a partner and everyone starts from zero.
It's one of the rarest activities a kid can do — and one of the most rewarding. Very few children can say they ballroom dance.

The perfect first taste of ballroom — rhythm, basic steps, and a whole lot of fun.
Youth Ballroom
More technique, more performance, and more challenge for older dancers.
Take more, save more. Inspire tuition is tiered by your dancer’s total weekly class time — so if they also take Academy dance, Acro, or another class, they move into a lower hourly rate. See how tuition works →

Show off progress at a winter showcase and our spring recital — real stages, real applause.
Competition
Ready for more? Our dancers compete locally, regionally, and nationally — plus conventions. Last season took them to Atlanta, Raleigh, New York City, and Fort Lauderdale. All optional.

Your instructors
Angelo & Kayla Cristobal
Dancing together since 2001, Angelo and Kayla have spent over 20 years teaching and competing at the highest levels of ballroom — reaching a national ranking of 7th in the United States in 2013.
Their mission at Inspire is straightforward: share world-class ballroom with the next generation and make it accessible, exciting, and fun for every kid who walks through the door.

We love IPAC Ballroom! My girls both participated in the program this year and their growth has been immense. Angelo and Kayla are excellent at helping new ballroom dancers learn the fundamentals including the music rhythms and basic steps. As the dancers progress, they build onto these basics and teach increasingly more difficult elements all while building each dancer's confidence and trust. My daughters really appreciate how dedicated Angelo and Kayla are and especially like the fact that they are with them on the dance floor explaining and showing them the technique. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our girls to learn ballroom and it is one of their favorite classes each week!

My son is the type of kid that likes to try everything. So, naturally, when we asked him if he would like to take Latin ballroom dance lessons, he said yes. What a wonderful choice he made! He has learned so much, from agility, coordination, rhythm and partnership. He gets a great workout, too! Angelo is an exceptional instructor. He provides a fun atmosphere, clear instructions and patience with the kids. He focuses on improving each student's skills. If you are thinking about signing up, take the leap! Nope! Kids learn and rotate in a group — no partner required, ever. It’s one of the best parts of how we teach. They also learn how to dance as singles as well.

None at all. Everyone starts with the basics — rhythm, timing, and simple steps — and builds from there. All skill levels are welcome.

Ballroom is a progressing group, so mid-season joiners get a quick, friendly assessment. Request a trial or contact us at InspireBallroom@gmail.com, and we will recommend how to get started after the season starts.

Not at all. Ballroom is a co-ed activity and we actively welcome boys. It's athletic, competitive, and a great confidence builder for kids of all backgrounds.

Only if you want it to be. Competition is completely optional — many dancers come purely for the fun, fitness, and confidence.

Comfortable clothes they can move in and socks are perfectly fine to start. When you're ready, we recommend a pair of inexpensive beginner ballroom shoes from Amazon — they're affordable, great for growing feet, and make a noticeable difference on the floor. We're happy to point you to our favorites after you sign up.
