More Than Dance

🏆

Confidence

Kids build real, visible confidence — on the floor and off. Ballroom teaches them to carry themselves with poise, make eye contact, and perform under pressure.

Athleticism

Ballroom is a full-body workout. Footwork, posture, timing, and coordination — it's athletic training disguised as something incredibly fun.

🤝

Teamwork

Unlike solo sports, ballroom is a partnership activity. Kids learn to communicate, adapt, and succeed together — a skill that pays off everywhere in life.

🧠

Focus

Learning choreography, timing, and technique sharpens memory and concentration. The mental discipline kids build on the dance floor carries straight into the classroom.

Open to boys and girls. No partner needed to start. No dance experience required.

What Parents Are Saying

"We love IPAC Ballroom! My girls both participated in the program this year and their growth has been immense. Angelo and Kayla are excellent at helping new ballroom dancers learn the fundamentals including the music rhythms and basic steps. As the dancers progress, they build onto these basics and teach increasingly more difficult elements all while building each dancer's confidence and trust. My daughters really appreciate how dedicated Angelo and Kayla are and especially like the fact that they are with them on the dance floor explaining and showing them the technique. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our girls to learn ballroom and it is one of their favorite classes each week!"

— Jessica Price, parent of Abigail & Lucille

"I want to extend a huge thank you to Angelo and Kayla Cristobal for the incredible dedication, passion, and care they pour into the ballroom program and each of the dancers. Their experience and knowledge in the ballroom world truly shine through in their teaching, and it's clear how much they invest in helping these kids grow—not just as dancers, but as confident performers. The progress I've seen in my dancer from her very first ballroom competition in September to her most recent one in February has been nothing short of amazing. The growth, confidence, and skill development in such a short time is truly remarkable, and it speaks volumes about the quality of this program and the coaching behind it. We are so grateful to be part of something so special!"

— Kisha Armstrong, parent of Ella

None at all. Our summer sessions will have classes for complete beginners. All skill levels are welcome.

No partner is needed to sign up. Kids rotate partners in class to learn partnership skills. They also learn how to dance as singles as well.

No problem — we design our summer sessions knowing that families are busy. Around 60–70% attendance still makes for a great experience.

Not at all. Ballroom is a co-ed activity and we actively welcome boys. It's athletic, competitive, and a great confidence builder for kids of all backgrounds.

Comfortable clothes they can move in and socks are perfectly fine to start. When you're ready, we recommend a pair of inexpensive beginner ballroom shoes from Amazon — they're affordable, great for growing feet, and make a noticeable difference on the floor. We're happy to point you to our favorites after you sign up.

All summer students are invited to perform in our end-of-summer Ballroom Showcase in August — a fun, low-pressure performance for family and friends. For families who want to keep going, our full season runs September through May with weekly classes and a full studio recital in May. Beyond that, regional and national competitions, dance conventions, and a winter showcase are all available — and completely optional. Your investment and involvement are entirely up to you.
